Faith , hope and love is my principle. I am a widow living with my 15 year old son in a a large Victorian house in North Plainfield, New Jersey. I could host 2 students of the same age who attend the Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and for them to stay for a long term. I am Chinese from South Viet Nam. I am fluent in Vietnamese, Cantonise, and Mandarin. Also, I hold a bachelor's degree in accounting. I am now a realtor. Honesty is my policy.

We are a close knit and friendly community. We are located 4.3 miles from the Wardlaw-Hartridge School. We are very close to Costco, Asian Market,, Target, Walmart, and Staples. There is easy access to Route 78, 22, and 287.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Pick up after yourself.
Guests are welcome if arrangements are made ahead of time.
Must be home by 10 pm on week days, and 11 pm on weekends.
You must use your own cellular device to make calls.
Inform your friends to not call after 9 pm. Do not use the phone after this time without permission.
You must do your own laundry, but you can use the family laundry detergent and drier sheets.
Supply your own toiletries.
Music should not be loud enough to be heard in other rooms of the house.
Be quiet when others are sleeping.
You must use your own laptop or computer.
Guest must obtain medical insurance within thirty days of arrival, proof is required.
If you decide to move out early, you must give a thirty day notice.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is not allowed.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
