This rustic and simple cabin was just finished in May 2016 on our 2 year sustainable family farm project! It has an ocean-view with amazing sunrises. The Full Size bed frame was handmade from recycled Redwood timber. The porch front railing, also recycled redwood, can be used as a table. There is a lantern for evening light and a light for the porch, however there is no electricity or power plugs in room. It is a very private room with a comfortable porch. It's only a few minutes by footpath through the garden from the bathhouse and surrounded by many plants, flowers and old growth banana, guava, mango, and sugarcane.

House Rules

The Hawaii Transient Tax of 9.25% and 4% GET taxes are NOT INCLUDED and will be collected upon arrival. Cash or Paypal only please.

We are located 1 mile down a GRAVEL/DIRT road off of Pohoiki Road, so a 4X4 is recommended or having a vehicle a little higher off the ground.
If you need a pick-up from the Hilo airport, we offer a shuttle fee of $25 upon request.

We do farm tours and sometimes nature walks and we can offer various day tours to local sacred sites around the Puna area on a Donation basis. John is a professional vegetarian chef and offers tasty organic meals inspired by the garden and trees. Ariel offers multi-modality therapeutic Healing Treatments. Be sure to ask for more details :D

We have 1 dog, 3 cats and a rooster! The locked gate at the entrance opens outwards. Will give gate code on booking.

Also things you might consider packing are a flashlight or a head lamp, and an umbrella and mosquito repellent for the whole island.

*Please note there is a $20 late check in fee if you check in much later than 8pm. We've been up late many times waiting for guests to arrive and it throws off our morning schedule so please arrive on time to avoid this fee!
