I am a language instructor at the university, and an educational travel curator. This home is open to students and professionals from any country of the world. House is located just a few blocks from UPENN, Drexel, and the University of Sciences. Trolley and bus stop just half a block in Baltimore Avenue. This is a multilingual and multicultural house. I have been living in University City for over 15 years, and I love the neighborhood. I can offer ways to get around the city and some tips on good places to eat.

1. You’re responsible for preparing your own breakfast everyday: Coffee/Tea, milk, cereals, toast, butter, and jelly will be available.
2. Clean up after yourself in the kitchen.
3. Keep food on the ground floor.
4. Turn out lights and anything electrical when leaving your room.
5. Leave sheets and towels in Laundry Area once a week for washing/drying.
6. Laundry: once a week .
7. Lock the main door when you come in or go out.
8. Please, don't light candles/inciense
9. Smoking is not allowed

My stay with Eva and her family was outstanding in every way. Her spacious and lovely home is on a quiet, tree-lined street in University City, and close to public transportation and several parks. The open concept downstairs includes a spacious living and dining area, and a stunning kitchen. The bedroom is cozy and private, and nicely furnished. Most important: Eva & Carlos are gracious, welcoming, and generous hosts. Both are busy professionals, and yet, they maintain an impeccable home and a peaceful energy. I highly recommend to anyone!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
