I live in the property, I just don’t spend to much time in the house because I am on deployment constantly. But my mom is in the house.

About the Area
Our House is located in a Quiet and safe neighborhood of Port Haywood. Mathews County is recognized as The Pearl of the Chesapeake because of the abundance and diversity of marine life. At 1.5 mile from the House you'll find New Comfort Observatory Reserve area where you can launch your Kayak and get a closer look of the New Comfort Lighthouse. Come and enjoy the tranquility only Mathews can offer.

House Rules
- NO SMOKING INSIDE THE HOUSE. Go outside, front or back yard is perfectly fine. This includes your cigarette, e-cigarette’s, cigars, vapes Good old Maryjane.
We will charge $ 350.00 on penalties if we find any sign of smoking inside the house.
- be courteous and respect our quiet time between 10pm to 6am every day.
- Any damage to property, furniture and amenities will be charge accordingly to retail price.
- Any stolen or missing item will be reported and charge to your account accordingly to retail price.
- we allow 2 pets for booking, any violent or aggressive animal won’t be allowed in the premises of the House, your dog should be on a leash while outside in the front and backyard. Clean up after your dog or cat. We have baggies if need it. Do not leave your furbabies (Dog or Cat) unattended. Any damage done by your pets will be charge to your account.
- OUR PROFESSIONAL CLEANING SERVICE WILL TAKE PICTURES BEFORE AND AFTER EVERY CLEANING. Please leave everything just like you found it. We will charge extra cleaning fees if we find vomit, soiled linen and extremely messy rooms. Don’t take white towels to the Beach… we have beach towel available.
- Mathew’s County is famous during the hunting season, Please HUNTING IS NOT ALLOWED IN OUR PROPERTY OR ANY SURROUNDING AREAS CLOSE TO OUR HOUSE.
- NO LOUD PARTIES PERMITTED. We are a quiet and calm neighborhood.

Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
