Stay with Jonelle, world traveler in a 100 year old house walking distance to the Santa Barbara Mission.
The light-filled house has front and back yards, lovely stone porch from where to see ocean views. The room is large with a new queen bed, desk and chair.
The living room has a stone fireplace, long couch and chairs to relax and read.
Large kitchen comes fully stocked.
While there is no formal dining room, there is a big table and chairs in the back garden.
There are no pets, and the house is cleaned professionally after every guest.
Please note, there is only one bathroom, though so far, that has not been an issue.
There is plenty of street parking in a neighborhood that is safe and quiet.
Walking distance to downtown Santa Barbara.
Near several electric bike stations.
I use non toxic natural soaps, detergents and cleaners so that people with sensitivities or allergies can be accommodated.
Payment Information:
* For week stays: Full payment must be received via Zelle or Venmo prior to arrival.
* For month stays a $500 deposit is required in order to hold the room for the month. The balance of the month is required one day prior to arrival via Zelle or Venmo.

About the Area
The house is located on the east side of Santa Barbara (mountain side) and is walkable to downtown and the Mission. It is a 20 minute drive to the University of California of Santa Barbara (UCSB) which is in the next town north of SB called Goleta.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

- Smoking is not allowed.
- Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after yourself.
- I love animals, but No pets are allowed so that I can accommodate people with allergies.
- Please do not bring strangers into our home. If you would like to invite a friend over, ask first.
- Please respect our home but feel comfortable. Treat it as your own house for the duration of your stay.
- Please keep quiet after 9 pm
- As we are in a drought, conserving water is appreciated.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
