Private furnished room with a private bathroom for rent. Three-bedroom house on a farm with one other tenant. Must be OK with dogs and cats and preferably OK with other animals. Animals are OK on a case-by-case basis. Rent includes utilities except for the Internet. I prefer not to have partiers. Smoking is OK but outside only. There’s plenty of parking and space for extra storage if you need it. If you have AT&T phone service you will not have phone service within 15 minutes of the house. Wi-Fi is available through Verizon’s mobile hotspot but you would have to attain your own. Although I do try to maintain a fairly clean house please understand that this is a farm a working farm with many animals and one owner. I should also note that although I do have a lot of dogs many of them are outside dogs only used for guarding the livestock. If you are not comfortable around animals this is not the place for you. Please note the quoted rent is for a single occupant. I am willing to entertain an individual with a kid and I have an extra room but that would cost extra. If you are a couple interested in renting the room please understand that there will be a small increase in the rent to cover for the extra utilities. Absolutely no drug users (except the legal kind) or convicted felons.

About the Area
Stony Creek is about 45 minutes from Richmond just down 95. The area has many streams and rivers. Stony Creek is a small town Surrounded by farmland with a crap school system.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
