About the Area
Spacious, well-lit walkout basement in quiet neighborhood (and quiet lifestyle above Suite). Private entrance. On half-acre property adjacent to small park with walking trails. Easy access to I-64/40 and I-70. Three miles to Katy Trail access; 20 miles to Lambert International Airport; 30 miles to St. Louis (the arch).
Ideally located within a short distance of quaint shops and unique restaurants, and a quick jaunt to single track trails through wooded areas or along the river.
Within 2 miles: convenience stores, gas station, grocery stores, box stores, fast food and local restaurants.
Within 11 miles: Butterfly House, TopGolf, Chesterfield Outlets, St. Louis Premium Outlets, historic downtown Saint Charles, Creve Coeur Lake, Weldon Spring Conservation Area (running and biking trails), Defiance (wineries), Cottleville.
Within 30 miles: downtown St. Louis (the arch), MO Botanical Gardens, St. Louis Zoo, Forest Park, Cardinals games, Blues games, Ballpark Village, City Museum, Hollywood Casino, Science Center, Six Flags St. Louis, Augusta (wineries).

House Rules
The Suite is the completely private, lower level of the house and has 1,000 square feet of space for you to utilize and enjoy. Things to keep in mind:
- If you have mail or deliveries sent to this address, keep in mind the address is shared. Please take extreme care to avoid opening others' mail and deliveries.
- When you order food or groceries, remember to tell the delivery driver to walk around to the back of the house.
- I would greatly appreciate quieter hours Sunday through Thursday from 9:30pm to 5:30am. Please let me know your desired quieter hours so you can also obtain needed rest.
- If you have gatherings, please be mindful and respectful of neighbors by not being loud or disruptive. Also be mindful of where your guests park.
HOUSE LAYOUT
Internally- the upper level is private and not accessible to Tenants.
Externally- please enjoy the patio at the Suite's entrance as your own space; the deck attached to the upper level is off limits, as we enjoy this as our own space.
Yard and landscaping maintenance is not expected of you. There will be occasions when others are mowing or trimming grass, applying fertilizer, or maintaining landscaping, which includes areas around the Suite's patio and walkway.
KITCHEN
Many feel the kitchen is equipped well enough for those who love to cook. There are standard dinner utensils, a knife block, baking and cooking utensils, pots and pans, crockpot, mixing bowls, hand mixer, microwave-safe dishes, full set of dinnerware, wine glasses, pie plates, cookie sheets, griddle, cutting boards, hot water kettle, coffee maker, French press, coffee bean grinder, etc.
Appliances include a 2200W double-burner hotplate as a cooktop, countertop convection oven for baking and toasting, microwave, full-size refrigerator and freezer (the ice maker does not work but ice trays are provided). A dish strainer, drying mats, and kitchen towels are provided.
Please note the floor in the kitchen will be damaged by standing water or by leaving damp or wet items on the surface for long periods. A Swiffer mop is provided for your use, which minimizes the amount of standing water left behind while cleaning.
PARKING & VEHICLES
Park only on the right side of the driveway (as you face the house) or park legally along the street. Vehicles leaking oil, gas, or other motor vehicle fluids are not permitted to be parked on the property. Please do not block access to the left side of the driveway, to the mailbox, or park in front of neighbors' property. Please do not park on or drive over grass. When parking in the driveway, using your emergency brake is a good idea.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
