My apartment is small but well maintained. It is very cozy and clean. It is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, blender, coffee maker, toaster, large stove / oven and refrigerator. All linens, bath towels, body soap, shampoo and conditioner are included. Our printer is accessible over WiFi with your laptop/smart phone (we often use it to print out routes/maps and directions.
I offer TV with local channels and your room is equipped with Netflix, Amazon Prime videos via Roku streaming and free high-speed WiFi. There is no mess or clutter because we like to keep things simple. I'm an empty-nester as my only son graduated from NJIT university, found his own flat and started a new career at Tesla. PLEASE NOTE: Bed size is a standard U.S. Queen Size (80 inches X 60 inches = 203.2 CM X 152.4 CM)
I am a 54 year old man who is very friendly, sociable and happy to host. As a former Airbnb manager I have gained lots of experience hosting (Se habla Español). It really is a home away from home and you will always be treated as family.
With plenty of local transportation just 1.5 blocks away you can travel to New York City Port Authority Bus & Subway Terminal. From there the sky is the limit as to where you can go in NYC..... 42nd Street (Times Square), Empire State Building, One World Observatory, Intrepid Air & Space Museum, Central Park, Stature Of Liberty, 9/11 Memorial & Museum, Rockefeller Center, MOMA.... the list is endless! All points in Lower, Mid & Upper Manhattan. On a nice day you can walk 25 minutes to the Port Imperial Ferry (Weehawken, NJ) which will take you to Wall Street/Pier 11 and so much more. Please visit nywaterway.com for fares, routes and schedules. Please note that the NYC Metro Card for subway/busses are not accepted on NJ Transit busses. NJ Transit passes (Flex Pass = multiple bus rides) may be purchased at Port Authority for use on any NJ Transit bus. These passes are offered at a 15% - 20% discount versus paying cash on bus. Once here, I recommend the NJ Transit App which gives you up-to-the-minute NJ Transit bus scheduling/tracking information to/from NYC.
Once you board the bus for NYC it usually takes about 20 -25 minutes from home, depending on traffic, to reach Port Authority NY. In NYC there are a variety of transportation options to take you to the 5 boroughs of Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan and Staten Island. If you just want to spend some time in our local area you'll find plenty of great restaurants and shopping in the immediate vicinity (all within walking distance) of home. The NJ Light Rail is located just several blocks from here if you fancy a trip to the Newport Center Mall In Jersey City, Liberty Science Center or Liberty State Park. For folks attending events at Met Life Stadium in NJ, you're just 35 minutes from home via bus or 15 - 20 minutes by car.
** VERY IMPORTANT LOCAL AIRPORT INFORMATION: If at all possible I recommend traveling through JFK Airport (New York) Or LGA Airport (New York) and avoid Newark Airport (EWR) because it is rated the worst airport in our area for public transportation. Starting October 2022 Newark (EWR) will be removed from the "NYC City Code" which means it will no longer be considered part of the NYC Airport System. The consequences may be higher prices all around, including with local transportation. It is currently very difficult and expensive to use any type of local transit when traveling from EWR to our surrounding cities***
PAYMENT: Balance due payment arrangements must be made immediately after completing booking by contacting the host. Balance can be paid via PayPal, REVOLUT, Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, WISE or CASH upon arrival.
All booking requests made at last moment (within 14 days of arrival) must be paid in full within 24 hours of booking
**Checks, Money Orders and Western Union are not accepted**

Eddie fue un gran anfitrión, nos trató de maravilla y se encargó de que no nos faltase de nada, incluso nos proporcionó información turística muy útil.
Sin duda repetiríamos estancia con él.
Muchas gracias por todo Eddie.
We had a wonderful stay with Eddie. He is super hospitable and is always available to give you help and advice. The room and the apartment are very clean and everything you need is there. The area where Eddie lives has everything you need, a supermarket is just around the corner and good restaurants are not far. Manhattan can also be easily reached by bus (approx. 25 minutes). We would definitely come back and can recommend the accommodation highly. Thank you Eddie! :)
Our stay at Eddie's was just perfect. The room is very clean, as is the rest of the accommodation! What's more, it's ideally located for visiting New York, with the New Jersey bus lines passing right by the house.
Eddie is a welcoming, caring and really nice host! I recommend spending a few nights there if you want to feel at home while traveling :)
Eddie is a great host. He helped us a lot to have the greatest time in NY :) The place is only at 15 minutes by bus from Manhattan.
We had the MOST PLEASANT stay with Eddie!
First: the room!
The room is small but really cozy and still offers a lot of space to store all your belongings. It is comfortable and super clean!
The rest of the apartment is extremely clean as well. Eddie has a huge fridge you can use and everything needed in the kitchen.
The bathroom is also clean and there is just nothing bad to say about anything!
The location is really nice! You walk 3 minutes to the next busstop and the bus takes you directly to the port authority bus terminal (close to Times Square).
Second: your host!
Eddie is the nicest person you will find all around this country! Even though we totally messed up our arrival time and made him wait for forever he was still so welcoming and showed us everything. He also gave us a lot of tips where to go and how to move around. He really cares about his guests to have a good time!
We had a talk every now and then and I have to say that Eddie made this place feel like home, not just an accommodation to stay at.
We would definitely come again and can’t wait for Eddie to come visit us
Wonderful stay at Eddie’s place.lots of laught. clean house. Eddie is so nice and helpful. Bedroom with lots of équipements. House easy to reach by the bus from port authority.

Une très bon séjour chez Eddy.
Eddie was incredibly kind, laid back, generous and endlessly funny! He instantly welcomed us into his cozy home and made us feel like part of the family. We were so thankful for his insider tips & tricks to get us around New York, and we knew that when we came back from a long day of seeing the sights, we would be greeted with his warm smile, and a clean, comfortable home! Thank you Eddie :)
Everything was clean and nice. Thank you Eddie for your friendly hosting and tips to discover the city. Thanks to you we was able to see more :)
Eddie is such an amazing person. He is very kind and will help you reach his place with ease, and also give you tips on how to stay safe in the area and NYC. I loved his hospitality, and the way he made sure that we wouldn't face any issues, nor worry about anything in the house. I would love to come back again, and meet him :)
