A furnished Master bedroom (14 x 15) is available in a house located in a safe and quiet and desirable neighborhood in West Orange, New Jersey located on a corner lot. We provide high breakfast to all of our guests. Host lives at the house. There are two more rooms (Room #2 and #3), which which share the a bathroom.
Bedroom #2 and #3 are also furnished with shared access to a large deck overlooking the natural reserve. The kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room are shared. The rental rate includes all utilities, electricity, gas, water, cable and internet service. Free parking is available on the property
Transportation to NYC is available with routes 73, 71, 21 and 92. Bus stop is a few blocks away. It takes about 45 minutes by car to get to NYC and according to Google Maps about 1 1/2 hours by bus and train.
Locations nearby include: Eagle Rock Reservation, St. Barnabas Medical Hospital, Richard J. Codey Arena, Turtle back zoo, Bryer Golf Course, NJIT, UMDNJ, Rutgers-Newark, Montclair State University, Seton Hall University, Essex county college, Caldwell College, houses of worship (synagogues, churches, temples), Kaplan Medical Institute, Novartis, Routes 280 & 10, Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike.
South Mountain Reservation, the largest parkland in Essex County, is home to the Washington Rock Lookout Historic Site and has 10 picnic areas, 19 miles of hiking and walking trails, 27 miles of carriage roads for jogging, horseback riding, & cross-country skiing, a fishing pond, waterfalls and so much more!
Livingston Mall and Essex Green Shopping mall which offers retail stores like Retro, Panera, TGI Fridays, AMC movie theatre, Shop-Rite, K-Mart, Whole Foods, Chipotle, Jersey Mike's, & many more. Many banks, restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping locations are within 5 minute walking radius.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
