House Rules

“Guest House” RULES: We aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful family memories in our home. For us to do so, we would truly appreciate it if you could follow these house rules for the smooth running of our home. Thank you in advance and we truly appreciate your cooperation! We want and need your EXCELLENTE REVIEWS for our service. We want to please you in every way as a guest in OUR HOME. Please read the following with a sense of communal cooperation! – Keep the noise to a minimum after 10 pm. – There shall not be smoking inside the home. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains may be applied. NO SMOKING ever around the building as smoke tends to “creep in.” If you must smoke, please distance yourself from the premises to do so. No smoking nor burning anything of any kind, legal or not inside the home (bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas). Health concerns and fire hazards must be considered. No "essential oils," rare perfumes, or other things that give off odors either. We must live together. Your co-host, Moramay, is very allergic to such things. – PLEASE WASH YOUR DISHES after use. If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees may be applied. – The washer/dryer in the service porch is for the use of everyone in the house. Please be solicitous in your use of the machines and iron. Be mindful of others’ needs and quickly tend to your laundry so others may continue their chores as well. It is less than kind to leave your soiled clothes parked in the washing machine or your “recently” dried clothes in the dryer. For your use, you may prefer to air dry your clothes outside on the line (which always leaves your clothes fresher and lighter). There is a washboard on the side of the house also, with laundry soap bars, for those who prefer to use them as well. – For longer-term guests, please negotiate with Moramay as to the cleaning of the room and the washing of the bedding. We try to respect your privacy and do our level best not to enter a guest’s room. – PLEASE police the bathroom once you have used it. We try to clean the bathrooms daily or more often, but it is impossible to check the bathrooms after each use. We count on our guest’s sense of decency. To clean the sink once we have brushed our teeth or washed our hands. Please leave the latrine free of any unsightly stains and missed marks. Gentlemen, please lift the seat before using the toilet and any excess water from our shower should be mopped up. It only takes a minute to be a courteous human being. We want a five-star review for cleanliness, but it cannot be achieved if the guests do not cooperate and clean up after themselves. – PARKING: Parking is provided on the driveway side by side. Our driveway is suitable for sedans or smaller SUVs. If larger/longer cars or if more than one car, you can park parallel in front of the house or on the side of the big house on Patie Road. – Feel free to use the barbecue outside that is set up for our super guests’ leisure use only. The BBQ is to be used by the guests who stay at the home and is not to invite others to the home as it will be considered as hosting a party. Please clean up after yourselves and keep the grill clean. If found left dirty and requires extra cleaning, an extra cleaning fee may be required. You will also need to add your gas to the BBQ as it is not supplied. – We try our very best to ensure that all foodstuff is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guest’s discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables. – Please do not rearrange our furniture. – If guests are unruly and misbehaved and, in the unfortunate event of disruptions alerting neighbors, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the authorities will be called in and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. – If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. – Pets are welcome, but you must clean up after them. This includes any extra shedding or accidents. Moramay will provide you with cleaning materials if something should go wrong. Your doggie's dooly is your responsibility EVEN IN THE YARD... please clean up after your dog's business. We love dogs... and we know you do too! You may not leave your pets unattended at home. We cannot be responsible for your pet care. Remember, Arizona laws are VERY strict about leaving pets in your car unattended (it gets hot, fast, and mortally dangerous for your pet in a car!). – Only the guests noted in the booking are allowed on the premises. A $30 charge will be added for every extra guest not agreed upon beforehand. – Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 11 AM STRICTLY APPLIED – this is to prepare the room for the next guest. Without permission, an overstay will require us to charge an extra day without the right to stay on the property. That room has been promised to another. – You are not allowed to eat in your bedroom. Please eat only in the dining areas of the house and do the appropriate cleaning of your dishes and utensils – Lastly, because this is a community, not a hotel, rather, it is our home, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave. (Respect our property and our things) We desire to make you happy – unless you have made other plans! We want a great review from you. We make mistakes and things are not perfect. If you need anything… if anything is out of place… or if we have missed any detail. Please inform us to make it right and please you. We want your positive feedback.
