This is a large private room for 1 person in an older victorian style artists home in the famous town of Woodstock, NY. It is on the first floor right off of the kitchen, has one twin bed and its own private bathroom with a sink and shower stall. The TV is next door in the living room and we don't have cable, but do have roku.
BREAKFAST IS Do IT YOURSELF - I Provide coffee, tea, juice, eggs, cereal, fruit bread, butter, and jam. You can make what you like from that.
Some people say that my house feels like an art gallery, because of all the paintings and sculptures that adorn the walls. I share my home with two adorable friendly cats, so must have guests who are not allergic . We are located 2 blocks from the bus stop and downtown area of Woodstock where all the galleries, restaurants and music venues are. We have a homemade gourmet ice cream parlor less than a mile down the road The Woodstock Bar & Curio across the street with a forest walking trail nearby..
There are scenic walking trails in the area for people and dogs as well as a free swimming lake which is 5 miles from the house.
If you love nature, wildlife, music, photography, and the arts, you will love this area!

About the Area
Our house is located on the main road that runs through the town of Woodstock. The neighborhood is friendly, safe and a 10 minute walk to the bus stop and town center.

Please remove street shoes when entering the house. Bring slippers or house shoes.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
