About the Homestay
I am a single 60 year old female and I live on my own with my puppy Maggie. I have had two International Students over the years and got along famously with them.
I live in a 2 bedroom home unit in Queenstown. It has a beautiful small paved courtyard with a peaked pergola roof and lots of fairy lights for sitting outside on sunny days and warm nights. I call it the Secret Garden at night. There is also a BBQ under the pergola
It is about 20 minutes from the city of Adelaide. It is within walking distance to train and bus transport.
I am also 5 minutes from the beach by car.
Maggie and Daisy are lovable puppies and expect a pat from everyone who walks into my home. I also have two married daughters and four grandchildren and they all live close to me.

Enjoyed a great stay with Maureen, so helpful and accommodating, I couldn't have picked a better homestay for my first try.
I will certainly return in the future.
We were first time visitors and immigrant to Australia and staying with Moureen in Adelaide was the best decision we had. She has a wonderful luxurious town house just minutes away from the suburb train station.
It is just 20 mins away from CBD. We had initially booked for only 7 days but it extended to 3 months and we still don't know how time flew with her. She is a gem of a person and had been the most supporting of landlords we have encountered in our life. She will go out of way to make sure you feel homely and happy at her place.
I and my husband highly recommend her as the host if you are planning to be in Adelaide.Thank you Moureen for the wonderful time we had with you. We are taking a life time relationship from Maureen.
Heena & Himanshu
We staied with Maureen for two months and our experience was great.
She is a very good person, always smily and helpful. She likes talking and knowing about you and your country. You will feel at home since the first day.
The house is close to train and bus stop and is easy to get everywhere. Is also near to Grange beach and the West Lakes and if you like walking you can get there by walk.
My stay with Maureen was incredible because she is a good person, all times she is happy, friendly and big-hearted. You can speak with she without any problem, she listens and responds all. Something important that I take advantage is the transport, there you can choose two option, bus or train and this part is easy for go to the city, beach or wherever that you need.
Her family, her pets, the facilities and she, are beautiful.
