Homestay in London: Highlight of European trip

India a student from the United States visited London recently on her studies and stayed with our 5 star hosts Marcus and Emily for 5 nights. The double room he rents is only £30 per night for one person or £50 for couples.

My homestay experience was beyond what I could have ever expected. Visiting over five countries this summer alone was a journey that would not have been as memorable if it wasn't for my homestay in London. I enjoyed talking to my hosts the most because they were young like myself, outgoing, and overall great people with nothing but love to offer. My other stays during my trip were all through Airbnb, and because I couldn't find a home in London through their site, I came to Homestay, and it was the best thing that could have happened.

What did you do in London?

In Leytonstone, I was so close to the metro that my traveling expectations were able to expand because not only was my stay already close to the main attractions in London, but it was also able to get me to areas I didn't think I'd be able to reach. I visited the London Bridge, Tower of London, Warner Brothers Studio: Harry Potter, various night clubs, and many other attractions due to the great metro system!

Any tips or advice for other travellers?

If you're ever traveling through London, this homestay is where you belong. Young, old, alone, or with a friend this stay will provide you a warm home with a loving couple to guide you every step of the way. At any home I stay in, I overall just want to feel safe and comfortable, but my homestay gave me more than that. I gained a family to trust, beautiful home to call mine for the week, and discovered what it meant to have a home away from home.

How was your experience with your host?

My experience with my hosts was one of the many highlights from my journey through Europe. I was able to meet their family members, interact with them at dinner, and even play with their adorable cat! My hosts were so interested in my research project and wanted to help me every step of the way by either giving advice, or just simply listening to what I had to say. They made my trip unforgettable and for that, I'm forever grateful
