Hey there!
Since my boyfriend and I George, Catherine, moved together in his Munich flat, we sometimes kind of miss having flatmates as we were used to shared flats for many years.
We both kind of work in the film industry.
George is 27 and currently working at German Films, the infomation and Promotion Company for German film worldwide. He is working to 9. 5
Katharina is working as a freelancer, she is at least one week per month in France (she used to live there the last 6 years and therefore speaks fluently french), the rest of the time she works at home on documentaries and journalism.
We have a 50 m2 flat with two rooms, When You want to be here you want to live in our huge living room (ie former room of the flatmate, so there is a bed inside). And you even have a balcony where you can smoke or watch the people passing. Of course, we will not use the living room during your stay. No problem if you're a couple or good friends as its a 140 cm bed and so comfortable for two.
We live Directly at Hohenzollernplatz in Munich-Schwabing, Which is well know for its mixture of nice little bars and traditional German restaurants. The metro station is Directly in front of the house, you can literally jump from the balcony on the metro if you wish.
As it's a residential area it's really calm during the night, so you do not have to worry having trouble sleeping.
Georg and I traveled a lot and thus Both lived abroad in Paris and London, so we're really looking forward to meeting new people!

About the Area
Our house is Directly at Hohenzollernplatz, there is a metro station of the U2 just in front of the house (you literally Could jump from the balcony on the metro if you wish;)
Hohenzollernplatz is the line U2, its only 4 stops (5 min metro or 30 minutes walking) from the Munich Central Station and around 40 minutes with one change to the airport. If you come by car I can tell you where you can find a free and safe parking only 10 minutes walking distance from our house.
Around the corner at High Zollplatz you have everything you need, supermarket, bakery, butcher, cafes and restaurants in two minutes walking distance.
The museum and sights and the city center are in 15-20 minutes walking distance or less than 5 min metro.

House Rules
We both smoke occasionally, but never in the apartment. If you're a smoker, you are welcome to smoke on the balcony.
We both like good beer and wine and it is Possible That Georg wants to take you shopping to show you some great bavarian beers!
We both really like to cook, you can eat with us against a little fee if you wish.
As Georg works and has to get up at around 7:30, we go to bed at midnight and from then on around it needs to be silent in the apartment.

Your host is a non-smoker.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
