About the Homestay
We are a family of five consisting of myself (Naomi), my husband (Ben) and our daughters Isabelle and Abbigail.
as an active family, we love spending time together and having fun days out, having picnic's by the lakes, swimming, fishing and having friends and family over for BBQs.
we enjoy visiting many castles and exploring Ireland's historic sites such as Trim Castle where the movie Brave Heart was filmed. we also play a lot of games we enjoy building a water slide in our front garden as we have a big hill to slide down. we go camping from time to time around Ireland's coast and visit beaches on a regular basis. on these camping trips, we go surfing and body boarding. one of our favorite beaches to visit is Keem Bay on Achill Island.
I am a Stay at home mum and enjoy doing things with the children such as setting up new and fun games to play like water fights with water balloons or water guns, baking with the children, going on picnic's and forest walks. I love cooking and spending time with my family and friends.
My husband Ben enjoys playing golf, archery, football, snooker and a long list of other sporting activities, he has a very funny side to him that anyone would warm up to very quickly and has a way of making people feel at home.
Our children look forward to opening our home to new students and learning new and exciting experiences with their new friends from other cultures.
We live in a five bedroom house in the countryside in a county with over 300 lakes and amazing views. We have a very large garden with a patio and BBQ area that we like to take advantage of from time to time. We have a large kitchen/dining room and we enjoy having dinner together and catching up on the days activities.
we live near towns with a list of amenities at our disposal such as Cinema, Bowling, arcades, snooker hall, Archery clubs, Fishing Clubs, Theater, shopping center and much, much more.
Ireland is full of culture and a lot can be explored in the fair days that local towns host, teaching things of old such as farming through history, food tasting, games, animals and so on, as well as fun fairs with roller coasters and rides.

We fill in without knowing how to speak English but the family helped us to find out a bit, we would like to return one day. Thanks for every family
