About the Homestay
We are a friendly young family offering a “home from home” experience with a warm Yorkshire welcome. We live on the outskirts of the city, with access to the ringroad and the A64. There are a variety of local pubs, restaurants and takeaways within walking distance. A short walk away, there is a bus stop at the end of road offering different routes including city centre.
We have two young boys, Henry 7 and Joseph 3yrs, life is busy and colourful! Never a dull moment.
After recently converting our loft, we can now offer accommodation. We have two light & airy single bedrooms and private bathroom all on the same floor.
Both rooms have plenty of storage, blackout blinds, hanging space, luxurious towels and facilities for making hot drinks. Hairdryer and iron are available on request.
I can provide homecooked meals and drinks as an extra service.
My husband and I were both brought up in the hospitality industry and enjoy welcoming people into our home. We have extensive knowledge on the City and surrounding areas and will be more than happy to help guests enjoy and make the most of their time here.

About the Area
Our house is located on the west side of the city. There is a bus stop at the end of the street offering many routes, including City centre. There are a variety of local shops within walking distance and Monks Cross & McCartha Glen (shopping centres ) are both within short travelling distance from the ringroad. We are a short car journey from the A64, making the journey to Leeds and the main motorways easily accessible. There is a leisure facility and library in Acomb and also a cinema only a short drive or bus journey away.

We request that noise is kept to a minimum in the guest room after 10pm and be respectful that we have a young family.
We request that all stairgates are kept closed to ensure the safety of our smallest child.

I had a happy welcoming stay with Rebecca Dan and their boys . The loft room that I stayed in was spotlessly clean with a super comfortable bed and ultra modern shower room . Breakfast was served daily with a good range of choices . I couldn't have wished for a more successful stay and I am looking forward to booking there again 2020 ! Lovely family !

We were made to feel very welcome and everything was very relaxed.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
