Great host and lovely hospitality.
Elizabeth was a super host.
She collected me from the station .
Elizabeth was a wonderful hostess who went the extra mile to make me feel at home. It was a wonderful experience to stay with her in Dalkey and a shame I couldn’t stay longer.
Great place to stay just outside Dublin. I would recommend getting off the DART at Glenageary as it’s only a 5/6 minute walk rather than Dalkey.
Very accommodating in that they allowed me to drop off my bag and have a shower at 11.30 am allowing me to then go on into Dublin.
Elizabeth even presented me with a breakfast - bread, cheeses, ham, salmon, muesli, yoghurt, orange juice and coffee - totally unexpected!
Elizabeth's house is beautiful, warm and cosy. She is a great host.
Elisabeth and Laura were very friendly hosts. They were very helpful. The place was quiet and clean. The photo's on homestay were not from the place I stayed. You have to know that the host is smoking in the house and also in the kitchen. If you don't mind this is a very good place to stay.
Beautiful and calm village of Dalkey. Elizabeth and Laura were welcoming, hospitable and helpful.
I had a very good time with Elisabeth and her daughter. They were very helpful and gave me a lot of recommendations. The village Dalkey is beautiful and it is a pleasent place for trips to Dublin or to the country side.
Lovely stay. Beautiful room with ensuite bath. Welcoming host, very clean and huge comfy bed, super breakfast and good value for the price. Elizabeth was kind enough to allow us to leave our luggage while we took a three night tour to the west and then back to dublin area.
Elisabeth and Laura, her daugther, were very kind and helpfull. It was great staying with them. Totally recomendable.
