Born and lived in Venice (Italy), in my life I was like artistic glass-maker and waiter in a 3-star hotel in Venice, department head in a big mall, advertising photographer, web-master, organic farmer and bee keeper and wwoofer in Tuscany (It) and Ibiza (Es)).
Since 2015 i live in Thailand. In April 2017 my Thai girlfriend, a couple of years ago, she decided to stop this kind of job because she was tired of me and her lovely daughter. I know I helped her in her dream.
I know i had the idea for renting the cost on this initiative.
I help you in communication, reservations, creation of new items of furniture, maintenance of the building, garden etc.
I speak Italian (mother language) Spanish and English a little bit, my girlfriend speak (mother language) Thai and very fluent Italian and English.
Inside the building I have:

- one bedroom (Queen Room) of 16 sqm. with ceiling fan and air condition, shared bathroom (with my family only), balcony.

About the Area
I live in the extreme south of Phuket in an internal lane at 500 meters. from the roundabout of Chalong leading to Kata and 200 meters from the highway that leads to Rawai. In 10 minutes by scooter you can enjoy the beaches of Karon, Kata, Naiharm, Rawai and the port of Chalong, to mention the best known but also meritoveli beaches, not frequented by mass tourism.
Also in the 10/20 minute drive there is the famous "Big Buddha" temple located at the top of the Chalong hill, the Promthep Cape and much more. On foot you can reach any bank office, post office, shopping centers (within 800 meters) and port of Chalong, where you can embark to visit the nearby islands.

If you're looking for a peaceful and affordable place to stay in Phuket, consider DD Fusion Food & Homestay! The place is situated at the center of main tourist attractions in the island such as Big Buddha, Throm Thep, and the inland beaches (Naiharn, Kata, Karon, Patong). A motorbike, which you could rent for 250 baht per day, will take you to these places within 15-20 minutes.
Doriano and Dararat (or Noi) are excellent hosts and will keep you entertained with their stories of Italy, where they are originally from. Noi's delicious selection of Thai, Italian and International dishes are made from fresh ingredients and cooked on the spot. If you're feeling a bit adventurous, every Tuesday and Saturday, there's a market that sets up just outside the apartment from 2PM to 8PM. The main road will also take you to several nearby restaurants and groceries such as Makro, Super Cheap and Tesco.
Bed sheets and towels are changed every week and there's FREE light breakfast with brewed coffee, toast, butter, jam, and fruits. The room has complete amenities with ample lighting, a ceiling fan, an airconditioner, cabinets, tables and chairs. No TV but you won't really need one if you actively go around and off the island.
I stayed for 3 weeks in the 16 sqm room with a queen size bed, which was enough for me and my wife who stayed over for 3 nights. If you're training in AKA Thailand, which was the main purpose of my trip, note that the apartment is conveniently located 1.5KM away. So, you can run/walk to and from AKA for the extra conditioning mileage!
Overall, I enjoyed my stay in Phuket thanks to DD Fusion Food & Homestay. Will definitely be back and book again! Thank you, Doriano and Dadarat for an enjoyable and unforgettable trip! Mabuhay!

The best place I could ever find to start my travel around the world! Noi and Doriano make me feel like a family member and I appreciate their open mind and loving friendliness so much that I even decided to stay longer Whenever it is possible, I eat in their restaurant because I love everything Noi prepares for me - she is just the best cook for me, as I am vegetarian and I cannot only trust her about the ingredients she takes, but also everything is VERY DELICIOUS I highly reccommend you to come and stay with these nice people in their clean home

Meals were served downstairs if you didn't want to venture out and find your own food. Cooking classes available for a very reasonable price - super fun! The room was great, large, and clean. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming. We had no plans in Phuket but were able to arrange for a visit to two beautiful islands by boat from the nearby marina, as well as information about bus schedules to nearby beaches.

I loved staying with Dararat (Noi) and her family for many reasons. All three of them, and the neighbourhood as well, are so kind, tender and helpful. They gave me the best advices, informations and time I have had in Thailand so far... But I also have to say the best food(Dararat is a real chef and has her own restaurant DDFusionFood)and cooking lessons. I will come back ASAP! XXX

I stayed for a couple of days and I cannot say enough good things about my stay.
I received a warm welcome with friendly smiles from Dararat and her family. Her food is delicious and she also made me a snack/packed lunch while I was out and about on their motorbike. I really felt looked after in every way, help and support with finding local places, the culture, and it felt like I was looked after like ‘family’.
The location is local and also within walking distance to tourist places like Chalong Bay, where I joined a boat tour to visit the islands (Phi Phi). On another day, I saw the beautiful sunrise at Chalong Bay.
The room itself is like pictured, it has airconditioning and is spacious, clean, with a balcony overlooking the market which happens twice a week. I was looking for a warm, friendly and local experience, and I certainly got that.
I can highly recommend staying with Dararat, and when I go back one day, I will stay with her and her lovely family again.
