About the Area
I live in the far south of Phuket in an inner street 500 mt. From the roundabout of Chalong leading to Kata and 200m from the state road leading to Rawai. In 10 minutes of scooter you can enjoy the beaches of Karon, Kata, Naiharm, Rawai and the port of Chalong (great for the night walk, along with the Rawai waterfront), to mention the best known but there are other small quiet and deserved Beaches, not frequented by mass tourism that deserve to be considered for a true relaxation experience.
Also in the 10/20 minute of scooters there is the famous "Big Buddha" temple located on top of Chalong Hill, Promthep Cape and more. On foot you can reach any bank office, post office, shopping malls (4 within 800 mt.) And port of Chalong, where you can embark on a visit to the nearby islands.

Smoking is not allowed.
Darat and her family were lovely to stay with, gave good advice about the local area and is of course an amazing chef. Thank you for having us :)
Meals were served downstairs if you didn't want to venture out and find your own food. Cooking classes available for a very reasonable price - super fun! The room was great, large, and clean. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming. We had no plans in Phuket but were able to arrange for a visit to two beautiful islands by boat from the nearby marina, as well as information about bus schedules to nearby beaches.
I loved staying with Dararat (Noi) and her family for many reasons. All three of them, and the neighbourhood as well, are so kind, tender and helpful. They gave me the best advices, informations and time I have had in Thailand so far... But I also have to say the best food（Dararat is a real chef and has her own restaurant DDFusionFood）and cooking lessons. I will come back ASAP! XXX
If you want to experience a real family in this region ,don't miss it, they speak English ,Italian also furthermore treat like a family part with guests, always Ready to assist challengers ,it's not an only free and clean stay but a Thai lifestyle.
I stayed for a couple of days and I cannot say enough good things about my stay.
I received a warm welcome with friendly smiles from Dararat and her family. Her food is delicious and she also made me a snack/packed lunch while I was out and about on their motorbike. I really felt looked after in every way, help and support with finding local places, the culture, and it felt like I was looked after like ‘family’.
The location is local and also within walking distance to tourist places like Chalong Bay, where I joined a boat tour to visit the islands (Phi Phi). On another day, I saw the beautiful sunrise at Chalong Bay.
The room itself is like pictured, it has airconditioning and is spacious, clean, with a balcony overlooking the market which happens twice a week. I was looking for a warm, friendly and local experience, and I certainly got that.
I can highly recommend staying with Dararat, and when I go back one day, I will stay with her and her lovely family again.
