Hi from Shauna and Jeff Rowe. We are a relaxed, vibrant, well travelled couple who love to keep fit, eat out with friends and enjoy meeting people from all over the world. We are fortunate enough to live in one of the most beautiful parts of Australia. The Gold Coast "Gorgeous one day, perfect the next". Our unit is ideal for hosting visitors, the downstairs area is complete with a light and airy Queen tiled room with an ensuite and a small patio. Jeff and I reside upstairs so your room is quite private, with a door leading out onto the back yard . The kitchen, laundry, dining/ TV area is also upstairs. There is an undercover carport for use should you have a car. We are within walking distance to both train and bus connections and 6kms from beautiful Burleigh Beach a haven of great casual dining and shopping. We are quite early risers and reasonably social.

About the Area
Our unit is located about 20 kms from the Gold Coast Airport (the bus drops you to within an 10 min walk from our house) and 1 hours drive from Brisbane International Airport (the train drops you to within a 2 min taxi ride from our house at Varsity Lakes train station). We are 5 kms away from a major Gold Coast shopping centre and a 30 minute drive to the mountains! There are many wonderful places nearby to explore or you can simply choose to hang out at beautiful Burleigh beach which is 6kms away!

Please keep our home secure and double-lock the front door when leaving the house. Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after! Please ask how to use the washing machine. Please do not invite strangers into our home. Please enjoy your stay and don't be shy in asking for any help you may require.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
