About the Homestay
My husband, Willie and I live in our beautiful mountain home with our daughter. We love to go hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and camping in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. We recently got a puppy (named Moose), so we hope you enjoy being greeted by a happy dog, wagging his tail!
Note: Because of recent changes to laws governing short-term rentals in Vancouver, we will only accept guests that want to stay 30 days or longer.

About the Area
Our cozy mountain home is located in North Vancouver, a 25 minute bus ride to downtown. We are a 2.5 km walk to Lonsdale Quay, where you can take a sea bus (yes, that's right, it's a bus that part of our public transportation system!) Across the ocean to downtown, which is a 14 minutes boat ride. Lonsdale Quay offers lots of restaurants, shops, free entertainment in the amphitheater in the summers, and parks. We Are 7 Km Away from Grouse Mountain, which offers great local skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking in the summer. You can actually walk to Grouse Mountain from our house, but you would probably be tired by the time you got there! Taking the bus there is really easy.
We are located between two beautiful river, and there are trails that you can go walking/hiking/running along each river. It is the most useful place in the world! You do not feel like you're in the city at all, even though restaurants are only a 10 minute walk from our house!

A really cool familly locate in a nice neighbourhood. I really have enjoyed my stay in this house.
It has been a fabulous experience, I bet you just can't find a better family in a better place! They will greet you like a member of the family and treat you as well. Judy and Willy are two very smart and open mind people with a beautiful and funny daughter. I'll be waiting for them in Italy o anywhere I'll be.
I've really enjoyed my time with Judi and Willie. They are very nice, friendly and easygoing. I felt that I could count with them from the begining of my stay. The house is really cozy and the neighbourhood is safe and beautiful. You will be great. It's a place where you easily feel like home :)
Judy and Willie are lovely hosts. Me and my partner felt comfortable and welcome all the time.
We spent one month in Judy´s and Willie´s home to attend English School in Downtown. We left every morning very early to get to our English School in Downtown. It took us 40min by bus and seabus and I do not want to miss the experience to drive through Vancouver Harbour every day.
North Vancouver is the best place to explore the parks and mountains in the north of Vancouver. You can get for example to Grouse Mountain and Lynn Valley by bus or a little bit faster by car. A car is useful but not necessary. Most of the places can be reached by bus.
Most of the time we had dinner together with the familiy in combination with interesting conversations. These two guys tried their best to speak clearly and slowly and we learned a lot about the english language and the Canadian lifestyle. Judy and Willie had lot´s of great recommendations for adventures to explore the surrounding. We enjoyed pancakes with Canadian bacon, fish burger and delicious chicken barbecue. We felt like part of the family and enjoyed the hours together with them. Not to forget to mention Charlee, the lovely and lively daughter of the couple.
We can hihgly recommend Judy´s and Willie´s home. It is a great place to stay and explore Vancouver and Western Canada. Thank you for the outstanding experience!
It was a great stay with Judi and her family! I really enjoyed the time and felt like a member of the family. We have had a lot of nice conversations and delicious dinners together. I can highly recommend her!
Great experience and fantastic family!
