Cosy little house (and a very functional space) in one of Dublin's best neighbourhoods. Carmel was very accommodating as a host and super helpful. I had a very pleasant stay.
A really nice stay at Carmel’s family house which was my own during the rental. There is all you need, the house is very comfortable and well located, at a 10 mn walk from the Museum LUAS tram stop. Carmel was very kind to leave me some bread, butter, bacon and eggs, jam, milk
and biscuits for breakfast. I highly recommend this house and its owner !
Carmel was a relaxed and easygoing host. It was a pleasure to stay at her house. the area is really nice and the house was clean. the only downside was, that there was no wifi. still, I would come back any time.
Perfect short term stay! You have the house for yourself and you stay in a popular area with the Phoenix Park and the city center closeby. It has everything you need, except wifi (I did not work at the time I was there, but normally it should work). Close to the bus stop and a ten-minute walk to the closest shared bike station. Carmel and her husband Paul come by if necessary or just for a chat. They were very flexible with moving in / moving out.
She's very kind. And the house is so nice and clean. It's lucky to start a Dublin life here.
Lovely family, really helpful and kind. 5 stars to them.
This guest awarded the host 5 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.
A gem of a house in a super location at a very reasonable price, host lives elsewhere so practically had place to myself aside from the odd friendly visit from Carmel, who is incredibly informative about local history of area, transport links etc. There is also a great cafe at the bottom of the road called ‘Slice’ where sells the best Sicilian orange cake that I think I may have ever tasted!! - Highly Recommended.
