About the Homestay
Myself, my husband and our pet dog live in a cosy family home with a warm atmosphere.
We have two rooms to offer: a large double room in our converted attic, and a lovely single room also.
My husband is a taxi driver, so we can provide taxi services to our guests when needed.
We are based in Swords, which is a wonderful village with all the amenities you could wish for!
Visitors are spoiled for choice of restaurants (any kind of cuisine you like is available), bars, and entertainment.
Pavillions Shopping Centre is just a 15-minute walk or quick bus journey away, from our home. Pavillions offers eateries, plenty of retail options, and a cinema too.
We are a 10-minute drive away from Dublin Airport.
Dublin City Centre is 40 minutes away by bus, or 30 minutes driving. The bus stop is just around the corner from our house.
Swords Castle is close by, it's a great attraction to visit!
Swords is close to the coast, and to Malahide and Portmarnock. There are delightful beaches to visit, and plenty more options for food lovers and watering holes for a few drinks.
Guests are welcome to use our kitchen to prepare meals for themselves.

Very good my stayed bernadette home
This is the best stay ever. We were always comfortable and Bernadette is the best. I recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home
It has been one of the best houses I have been to. The room was very confortable, TV, perfect Wifi conection... The house was very clean and tidy. They live in a beautifull neighborhood, close to the bus station.
Bernardette is absulutely charming. Everything you can say about heris good. She looked after me very well all time, and she was very patient with my limited english she talked to me when I was home, wich was what I needed to improve it. It is a nice family, her husband told me how to move around the city... they are willing to help you all the time.
Keep me a room for the next trip please!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
