Cosy home. Wonderful for those who like feeling like they’re in a house rather than a motel or hotel. We had all the basics and simple comforts we could ask for - and our host was very warm and friendly. Would definitely go back!
Very friendly hosts with very cosy home. We had an excellent experience and can fully recommend this homestay in a quiet residential area.
Very recommended. Great house
We had stayed here for 3days.It was a wonderful place we really enjoyed our stay.Very children friendly place. We all live it.Thank u to Mr Kader.
Very pleasant stay and house owner was very polite and helpful. The house was very near by Eunos MRT station which is an add-on thing to stay in this house.
Thank You Abdulkader for making our stay comfortable.
I am Rajendrakumar Mahajan from Maharashtra, India
I wish there were 5 more stars to rate this property. Mr. Abdulkader was very receptive since the 1st interaction i.e. even before I decided to stay at his place. His tips helped a lot to finalise my travel plans. Actually, I reversed my plan after discussing it with him and due to long weekend holidays in Malaysia I first went to Malaysia & then visited Singapore. When we first met, he and his wife Mrs. Fatima received my family with warmth and affection. It felt like we were visiting our relatives in Singapore. My mother (age 75), my wife & kids (13/9) everybody felt relaxed and at home. The breakfast was good & unlimited. Ms. Kitty (maid) helped us with breakfast, sometimes as early as 7 am. She even took care of my kids' & mother's breakfast when we were away early morning. It means a lot when my mother doesn't speak & understand English.
All amenities were perfect & as per requirements of tourists. This Bungalow is like a heritage property. The rooms were big with high ceiling. Like in India, even here no shoes/chappals are allowed inside the house. So the house remains neat & clean. It was good that there was no television in the rooms. Hence, no distraction for kids. The location is 8 mins walk from Eunos MRT. I think its equidistant from Kembangan MRT but we didn't go there. The property is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and I am happy that I didn't choose to stay at Little India/Orchard Road. As I am from India, there are generally less food options abroad. This property has two restaurants serving vegetarian food within walking distance. One is Veganburg and other is Hotel Iniah Blk 7, Eunos Crescent. Eunos MRT is on EW line and is well connected to all parts of Singapore like Sentosa, Marina Bay, Kranji, Little India, etc. By MRT we reached Airport within 20 minutes.
Thanks to Mr. Abdulkader & his family for giving us a memorable vacation in Singapore !!
5 STAR is not enough for this place. A very well maintained heritage home indeed. One of the best Homesstays I have experienced. I am Glad that I chose Mr. Abdulkader's homestay for my family vacation and more than singapore, My family still speaks about the stay (LOL). The Morning breakfast (even though it was mentioned as light breakfast and we kept our expectations less) is a good decent breakfast and we got to taste a lot of the local dishes like Nasi Lemak and Sticky rice and Me Goreng. The only reason I opted for the homestay was cos i have a 2 yrs old kid and wanted kitchen access to cook comfortable food for him and guess what... i got more than what I expected. The Kitchen is very much accesible and my wife was more than happy with the availability of stuffs (coffee, cornflakes, warm water/cold water etc. To add on to the excitmeent of my son, the house has got a mini park in front of the home to play around. Mr. Abdul kader was also kind enough to invite us for a dinner with his family.
The Locality is a very nice and MRT (Eunos) is only a 10 min walking distance. The only time we took a taxi was from and to Airport. else all my local travel was easily covered in MRT wihtout much hassle. Good eateries are also available nearby ( the Vegan burger is yummy, 10 min. Walk and also many eateries nnear to the Eunos MRT)
Finally, I have to mention the two ladies Ceety and Kim who keeps the house soo clean and tidy and cooks some of the best food we had in Singapore. All in all This Homestay is an ideal place
for family and friends.
It was so pleasurable to meet and stay with this wonderful family. They are so hospitable and treated us like their own family or even better than our own family. I want to recommend to all tourists to stay at least one night and experience the difference.
