I lived with Sarah and Mel for 3 1/2 months. The house is very clean and the location with connection to the city centre is very good. The two have always given me the feeling of being at home. Ripley and Fizz, the pets, complete the whole good feeling. I will miss the four very much and can only recommend everyone a stay with them!
I lived with Sarah and Mel for 3 months and it was the best time of my life. Since it was my first stay abroad, I had many concerns but Sarah and Mel made me feel at home and always helped me if there were any problems. Everything was clean and very comfortable, other students from my university did not feel as well in their home as I did here. The two pets Fizz and Ripley are the best you can have.Living with them is very relaxed and easy. I would recommend Sarah anytime!
Spent a lovely four weeks with Sarah, Mel, Fizz (the dog) and Ripley (the cat). Sarah and Mel were super welcoming and friendly and drove me to the shops on my first day (and also showed me the bus stop coming from / going to town), which was very kind of them and was great just so I could buy some essentials. The house is super modern and clean and you can use the kitchen / washing mashine whenever you need to. I stayed in the double room, which is super cosy and you have lots of space for your clothes / storage. You also only need to share the bathroom with one other person, the one that is staying in one of the other rooms offered here on Homestay. It takes about 6 min to walk to the bus stop, where you can take the 40D that goes straight to the city centre (O'Connell Street), and it takes about 30 min to get there depending on the traffic. The bus comes every half an hour or so. There's a few small shops like Spar, Tesco, a pharmacy and a chippy 15min walk away. All the 5* reviews really speak for themselves, would always come back and recommend it to everyone :)
My first touch in Dublin was be with Sarah and Mel . I moving in Ireland from Croatia and for a first I'll stay in their house for two weeks. BEST WELCOME EVER ! House is so nice, girls are so great. They take a lot of care about me. Always ask do I need anything, do I wanna go in Lidl,Aldi and other shops.
They have a great dog Fizz and sweet cat.
All the best for them and have all my reccommondation :)
With love ,

I stayed in Sarah´s and Mel´s house for six weeks from the beginning of June 2018.
I had a very good time in Dublin. Sarah and Mel are very great hosts. They have made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. Both were very helpful and caring.
Sarah drove me also my on my first day to the supermarket.
The house is modern and clean and you have the opportunity to use the kitchen and to wash your laundry whenever you want. I enjoyed the time in my little room which was very nice and cozy.

The best hosts and dog❤️❤️
I stayed at Sarah's and Mel's house for seven weeks. Sarah agreed very spontaneously because I was already in Dublin for a business trip and needed a host family for the next day. That was really nice of her! The day I arrived she showed me all the bus stops and helped me to look up how to get to work the fastest. The house is very clean and modern and you have the possibility to wash your laundry whenever you want. By bus you get to the city centre in 20 minutes. They also have a lovely dog who's name is Fizz (I already miss her :p ). Sarah and Mel are really nice and made me feel very comfortable at their home. We also did some things together in our free time which I really appreciated. They also took me with them to Tesco or Aldi when I needed something. On the day of my departure they drove me to the airport as I had two heavy suitcases to carry with me. I am very thankful for this experience and would definitely recommend a homestay at their house! Thank you!
I had a really good time there. It is a good area with a good bus connection to the city centre. Sarah and Mel are very nice ladies and they can help a lot and also a lovely dog is there.
I didn't stay very long at Sarah's place but I can definitely recommend it to anyone who's coming to Dublin for a short or long term. She and Mel were very welcoming and made me feel like home as soon as I arrived. Mel took me to the Tesco express quickly after I arrived so that I could buy some essentials I had forgotten at home.
Unfortunately I had to leave earlier than expected and Sarah offered her help and called a taxi for me.
Thank you Mel and Sarah for a very warm welcome.
