Myrna is an Angel
She is the greatest host ever, you will never find a better place to stay, you are family :)February 2019
I had the best time at Myrna’s place in San diego. She and her husband Rick are wonderful people and they made me feel like I was staying at my relative’s place. Their house was beautiful and cozy and all the food Myrna made were amazing. I actually got some of the recipes from her which I am planning to try this week. ;) It was my first visit in San diego and it was merely for my study so I didnt expect my trip to be this homey and enjoyable. I am definitely visiting again hopefully in the near future. Thanks Myrna and Rick for such wonderful experience. ♥️

Grande ospitalità ci hanno fatto sentire come fossimo della stessa famiglia. Ci hanno preparato 3 colazioni una diversa dall'altra. Consigliatissimo. La casa è da sogno

I had a wonderful stay at Myrna’s home! This was my first time as a guest a Homestay host’s home. Myrna and her husband were very welcoming and ensured I was comfortable staying at their home. I really enjoyed hanging out and having great conversations with them when I was there. Myrna, who is a fabulous cook, sometimes made breakfast for me. For one evening when I didn’t eat out, I joined Myrna and her husband for a home-cooked nutritious dinner. The baked salmon along with sides of seasoned string beans and couscous tasted delicious. It was just what I needed that evening.
Their Spanish-style two-story home is beautifully decorated, spacious, and clean. The bed in the bedroom that I stayed in was very comfortable to sleep in. I could open the two windows within the room for fresh air, when needed. There is a desk in the room, which was good to have as I had some work to do on my computer. WiFi is also available, which was convenient to have. I shared a bathroom with one other guest, which worked out fine. She was a friendly guest who was visiting from another country. In the backyard, they have a beautiful clean pool, water fountains, and comfortable patio furniture. I had the chance to just lounge around by the pool and relax, which was lovely to be able to do during my visit.
Overall, I recommend a stay at Myrna’s as she and her husband are genuinely hospitable hosts with a beautiful home to share with guests. They truly enjoy sharing their home with their guests!December 2017

Myrna and Rick are the perfect hosts. They are both very wonderful, open , lovely people. Great conversationalists.
We felt very lucky to have the chance to stay by them for three weeks, in their absolutely beautiful home. We felt very welcome, and at home. Any questions we'd have, they were always more than happy to help. The room was wonderfully done, providing everything you could possibly need. Beds were very comfy. As was the atmosphere. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the Garten, by the water very peaceful. Rick has a beautiful garden, that I would recommend checking out. And we had a wonderful breakfast every morning, and were lucky enough to be invited for dinner a couple times ;) Myrna is a very good cook, and a talented cake decorator. We would more than recommend anyone , if they get chance to stay by Myrna and Ricks. We're looking forward to the next time we see them! Maybe in Germany!April 2017
Myrna and Rick are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Everything about our stay was fantastic. They made our time in San Diego very special and memorable due to their amazing recommendations of sightseeing in and around the city and the time we spend in their beautiful home. Myrna made us
some amazing food during our stay - and she even took us to get our nails done! Both she and her husband Rick took time to sit down and chat with us every night we got home. They were both so welcoming and kind. This was our first homestay ever and will definitely not be the last. If you want to explore the area of San Diego while feeling welcomed and at home, you will not regret staying at Myrna's.April 2017
We had a great experience & perhaps one of the best example for what a Home Stay is all about.
My mother and I stay here with Myrna and her husband for a total of 7 night, 3 nights during the first half of our trip and 4 night during the second half of our trip here in Chula Vista. The house is a very neatly maintained and they have an amazing backyard. The hosts are the most courteous people I have come across in ages. They made us food and even took us to the trolley station....So here is three cheers to Myrna and her husband!March 2017

I came down to SoCal for fertility treatment with my partner and my mother. From the moment we were greeted at the door Myrna and Rick were warm and welcoming. Throughout the three week stay they were friendly and made us always feel welcome! These are two of the sweetest folks. Their home is beautiful also. I would not hesitate to recommend you to do a Homestay with them! Myrna made us or supplied us with breakfast each day and went out of her way to be hospitable always. I can't say enough good things about these folks! Hearts of gold!!! When/if we go back down to SoCal we would love to stay with them again! Thanks for reading!
