About the Homestay
Our spacious open plan home filled with natural light is perfectly located between Brunswick and Smith Street, 1 min from fantastic cafes/bars/restaurants/stores, and just a 15 min stroll to the CBD. In addition to the amenities listed below, we provide free on-street parking (we have a permit) and in-room heaters.
They are both bright rooms with a comfy bed for 1-2 people, lovely linen and built in wardrobes with plenty of space in Melbourne's best suburb - Fitzroy. We also have an in-room heater for extra cosiness! Ideal for coffee, food, art, vintage and music lovers.
You'll have access to the ground floor bathroom and courtyard, a fully equipped kitchen, with a kettle, toaster, (Aeropress) coffee machine, blender and microwave. There is a large main living and dining area and an outside patio on the middle floor.
We provide bed linen, towels, body wash and shampoo/conditioner. Your bedroom is close to the front door on the ground floor, with the main bedroom on the top floor. So, while we're available for a chat, we won't be up in your business!

About the Area
We are right in the middle between Fitzroy's main streets - Brunswick and Smith - and 1 block back from Gertrude Street. So that means there are countless bars, restaurants and cafes in walking distance in every direction. An active suburb in the shadow of the city, Fitzroy is as central as it gets!
We are a 1 minute walk from two different trams into the city or you can walk to the CBD in 15 minutes. We also have a spare on-street parking permit that can be used by any guests that have a car.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals will incur an additional cost. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

Please come and go as you please. We just ask that you are respectful of others in terms of noise and that you refrain from taking showers between 12 am and 6 am.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
