working mum with teenage child, I have been hosting summer students for 8 years and have decided to try it year round. very relaxed laid back house. 3 bedrooms bathroom sitting room kitchen all mod cons. very convenient to buses , city centre and colleges. The bus takes 35 minutes at peak times and 20 minutes off peak. The house is very close to Dublin airport and it only takes 10 minutes in a taxi.
This is a twin room and rented as such in peak times (may to sept)
Additional Info
There is parking available for guests. Laundry can be done for a small weekly fee. Dinner can also be taken on a day to day basis and not nessasarily a weekly basis. This can all be arranged on booking.

Our house is located near to Dublin airport (10 mins drive) .Our house is located in a safe and friendly neighbourhood with good amenities and a very good bus service. the bus no is the 27 and it takes approx 35 minutes at peak times and 20 mins off peak. the buses arrive every 10 minutes. the bus stop is 2 minutes from the house.

House Rules
every guest issued with a key please lock the house up when leaving or if your last in.
please take your shoes off when entering into house
take showers at respectable times not before 7am or after 10.30pm
If we have arrangements for meals included pleases advise if not required on a particular day
please advise when laundry machine is required
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.

It was lovely staying with Cathy and her family. They were welcoming and never complained about anything. She helped us get settled in the city fast and recommended things that were vital in keeping us economical. Overall the experience was great, no complaints at all regarding my stay with Cathy and her family. I will recommend this stay to anyone reading this review.

The host cancelled the booking on the day of arrival.

Cathy was very helpful when we had a problem with our bus ticket. The stay was very uncomplicated and the house was clean. Thanks a lot.

Cathy was great, she and her partner Christopher stayed up and chatted with us at 12 am (we had really late flight from UK). They gave us lots of good tips about the city. We felt welcomed and relaxed in their home.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
