This homestay was really the best, I'd ever had! The whole family is very open, friendly and every time helpful. If you are an open minded person witch wanna learn some japanese language or somthing of the japanese culture, you are on the right homestay.
We thank the family so much for this pleasure journey!

Actually,I once cancelled her booking because of my illness. She must have been in a confusion then...
She said to me she wanted to stay here even I couldn't prepare for her.
So I was in my Mum's house a lot.But she left me a very nice review.

We ended our travels around Japan staying with Haruna and her family for 3 nights and it was great! The boys, Hakuto and Aoba, are playful, smart and sweet - it was delightful to see them briefly in the mornings and evenings. The house is conveniently between Osaka and Kyoto and also hosts some amazing temples and shrines without the hoards of tourists. The highlight for us was being able to stay in a Japanese home but what made it extra special was the sincere kindness and warmth with which the family welcomed us. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Staying with Haruna and her wonderful family was definitely a highlight of our travels to Japan. My partner is a classic Mini enthusiast and Haruna took us to a garage close by where they had a load of Minis, we also went to a local temple which was, by far, our favourite temple visit of the whole trip, it was beautiful, secluded and peaceful. Haruna’s sons were great fun and wanted to play games from the minute we walked in. Our room was lovely and comfortable and breakfast was more than what we could have asked for. Although we were happy to catch the bus to the station in the morning’s Hauna always dropped us off and suggested detours to other sights. In a nutshell, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend staying here.

Kyoto is a beautiful city, who can doubt it? But with the welcome we've had, this city became amazing. Words fail to explain our satisfaction. We shared so many memorable moments that it was with deep regret we've had to leave. The whole family welcomed us with such warmth and such attention. (What a joy to share the happiness and the impish curiosity of two awesome children! We kiss you, beloved kids!) Haruna's family helped us and guided us so kindly: they spent lots of time with us to discuss, to learn us about Japanese customs and life, to visit typical peacefull places, and they were constantly listening to our desires. For us, they aren't a simple welcoming family, but now really friends. And we are always in touch! (We look forward to coming to see you all again.)
For those who would like to know about Japan, not just the amazing land of cherry blossoms, glowing maples, bonsai trees, temples and shrines, but Japan which shakes your heart to the point of leaving a little of yourself, stay a while at Nagaoka in Haruna's family: green tea here has imperishable taste of attachment.
