Hi Im Chantal and my daughter is Jordan (almost 20yrs)
I am offering:
1 Queen Bedroom to yourself with a desk
This comes with a
Shared bathroom with my daughter (hence why a female is preferred)
(there is an additional downstairs toilet to)
It is difficult for me to confirm bookings more than 2 months ahead as I travel for work.
My daughter is 19 years old and lives with me. She is up early to go to work and then studies mostly.
Our loveable dog Ziggy is medium sized and he is an indoors dog.
He loves people and cuddles.
The dog will not go into your room, and will listen if you ask him to go away.
Our secure complex is Lakeside next to a private beach at the lake with lots of walking / bicycle trails full of birdlife and beautiful sunsets. It is also on a bus route on next to Aldi.
There is also pool facilities in the complex with lovely gardens.

Our drinking water is all filtered.
We are early risers but sneak out as we head to the work or the gym.
You can have use of the general kitchen and general appliances as long as you clean and pack away as you go (before 930am and after 5pm)
You have will have fridge and pantry space.
Laundry can be done once a week.
Additional Info:
I work from home mon-fri 9-5pm and often hold appointments online in the living area. It is preferred you avoid the living and kitchen area during that time as I will be talking and recording.
General use of Internet included (no excessive downloading)

We are central to everywhere and on a bus route close to the train and tram.
Reduced rate for longer stay.

Our townhouse is in a small complex, on a main bus route and is close to bond university, cafes, Aldi, lakes, walking trails, beach, Robina town centre and the train station.

No smoking in our unit however there is a smoking area in our complex. Please reduce the smell of smoke before returning to the unit.
Ziggy is on a strict diet, so no feeding him anything please.

The stay with Chantal was great, she was very helpful and always available for a quick chat. The location is amazing, you're very close to a bus stop from where you can get anywhere. You're in Burleigh Beach in 20 minutes by bus. The house is beautiful, and even has a community pool, which was great for cooling off in the hot temperatures. Varsity Lakes is super nice, lots of beautiful houses and it's surrounded by Lake Orr which is great for walking!
I can absolutely recommend Chantal, she is a great host. You have everything you need at her place and if you don't, you can always ask her!September 2023
We stayed with Chantal for a couple of months and she is a very lovely person and we felt very at home with her. We’re grateful for the time that we spent with her as we were really struggling to find somewhere to stay and she sorted us right out. We’ll miss you!

Before I booked with Chantal, I was desperate to find somewhere to stay and o couldn’t have found a better place! It’s like I’ve met the right people to the right time. Chantal is an absolute caring, supportive & amazing host and goes out of her own ways to make you feel at home and comfortable. I’ve extended my stay for another 5 weeks and it was the best decision!

I would like to stay next time, so it would be a problem if it became very popular.
But I want you to staying here.
The house’s food is excellent.and they are kind so I was happy.
All room is very cleaned and I can watch Netflix
But the best thing is that you let me sleep slowly in the morning.Host reply

I honestly cannot say enough good things about my stay here. Both hosts were the most genuinely kind and welcoming people and made me feel so at home the entire time. Not only is it incredibly good value for money but your stay will be nothing but comfortable in a chill and happy home environment with literally everything you need on your doorstep. If you are a long way from home like myself, I would 1000% recommend booking a stay here, you wouldn’t regret it at all.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
