Hi. We are a family of four, me, my husband and 2 friendly kids.
Our house is located 18 mins. to Asakusa Station and 30 mins. to Tokyo Station by train.
The nearest train station is only 4 mins. walk from our house.
Very convenient area. Within 3 - 7 mins. walking distance, we have a big shopping center, some super markets, many cafes, restaurants and a local shopping street where you can find real life of the residents of this area. In the shopping center, there are all kinds of Japanese products so it is suitable to get unique and inexpensive souvenirs.
This area is also safe, clean and quiet.

If house key is lost, the cost to replace is JPY5,000, so please be careful not to let that happen.
As this is the residential area, please pay attention not to make loud noise, especially after 9:00pm.

Naoko is a terrific host. Her home is an independent house, in which the guests can enjoy the spacious entire first floor, with fully equipped bathroom / kitchen and dining room. She lives at the second floor with her husband and two very adorable kids. Around her home there are a lot of restaurants and shops, including a wellness centre and a natural hot spring, which looks appealing, unfortunately our trip was too packed to try it out. Naoko's home provides an ideal homestay destination for travellers who wants to experience local Japanese family lifestyle with convenient transportation to center Tokyo.
Naoko was a very kind and accomodating host. She picked us up from the station and even prepared dinner for our first night. Really took care of me when I got sick unfortunately. Definetly Would stay here again if I have a chance to visit Tokyo again.
Naoko was so kind to share her house with us. She picked us up from the station, took care of all amenities (tatami, towels, kitchen, washer and dryer) and let us stay in a well sized space. Naoko is well traveled and easy to talk to about different experiences. Thanks so much Naoko :)
Ms Naoko is a nice host and her place is well kept.
The room is spacious and has all the basic needs for guests.
It is about 10 mins walk from Nishiarai train station, on flat ground.
There are 2 malls nearby to the place. One beside the train station and the other about 10 mins walk from home.
Is a peaceful neighbourhood and very safe during the night.
Recommended for those who wish to experience staying in a family home while in Tokyo.
Naoko and her family are welcoming, helpful and friendly.
It was nice to know them and I hope to have the opportunity to go another time to stay with them.

The district is quiet and convenient to restaurants, shopping centers and the train station from which you can easily reach the center of Tokyo.

Naoko is a very attentive and kind person who made sure I had a nice time in Japan. She showed me around the neighborhood, she invited me to family outings on several occasions, and even prepared fruit plates for me when I fell sick. Her two children are also very fun to be around.
The guest room is a traditional Japanese-style room, which means the isolation is not that great, and that there is a futon. Having said that, I had no problems sleeping. There is a kitchen, toilet and shower (not shared with the family) which I could use whenever I wanted. That was really convenient and is something that you don't normally get to see during a homestay.
Train connections are very good and straightforward, I found myself not even looking at the train schedule after the first few days. There are many facilities in walking distance (supermarkets, a shopping mall with a cinema, massage and hair salons, karaoke, gyms). It's a suburb area of Tokyo, so it's a good place to relax after having too much fun in the city centre.
All in all a host I can recommend. Naoko won't bother you if you just want to do your own thing, but she will be there for you in case you need any help or just want someone to talk to.
We only stayed for one night at Naokos place, but it was a very nice environment and i can recoment it to everyone else.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
