Rob and Mirelli are the nicest of people. While staying with them I fell including and very welcome. Mirelli especially has a way with her guests, it was awesome you just sit down and have a chat over some snacks. Rob has all the dad jokes one needs. The downstairs room I had was spacious, clean and very welcoming. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend anyone wanting to book a homestay in Toronto should look no further, this one has it all.
I’ve had three amazing weeks with Mira and Rob! I can only recommend staying with them! I felt welcomed from the first second on. They’re very open for other cultures & people. With their home being located close to downtown, it makes the daily commute very convenient and fast. The room was clean and equipped with all necessities. To put it in a nutshell, you can find everything you’re looking for in a perfect homestay family in Mira & Rob! Thank you for the great time & I hope to see you again, Mira & Rob!

I did have a wonderful experience with Rob and Mira they are two people down to earth , peaceful and friendly. I was very comfortable , they were very helpful and with great hospitality. The house and my room were very clean.
Great neighborhood too to get to know the city from
I highly recommended this family without any hesitation.
During my internship in Canada I stayed with Rob and Mira for 3 months. This was my first ever experience abroad for such a long period of time. It was my first experience with a host family as well.
I have to say, my experience could not have been any better! Rob and Mira are kind and welcoming people who love to meet open-minded people (like themselves) who like to travel and share their culture.
This was my first stay ever in Toronto and whenever I needed advice on transportation, what to do, where to go etc. I could always count on Rob and Mira. When my brother stayed over and we explored the city, Rob even became our personal travel guide who advised us on how to make the most of our trip.
They really went out of their way to make their home a home for me as well. They showed great interest in the progress of my internship and the writing of my paper. From time to time, Mira would make my favourite dish or ask me what type of food I was missing from home. And God, that food was delicious! I have some great memories as well from the nights when they gathered everyone at home so we could have dinner toghether out on the deck. Combine Mira's food with Rob playing the guitar and cracking jokes, and you'll have a dinner which lasts for hours!
I would describe Mira and Rob as curious and open-minded people who like to learn new stuff everyday. This often resulted in long-lasting conversations/debates on all kinds of topics. On the other hand there were times where we would all be cracking jokes and having a good laugh. Since I was in school and had to write a thesis, I was pretty lucky to stay with them. Their home is quiet and they would not bother me when writing for school. Basically, you can have a great time toghether, but if you need some time to work on your stuff, that's fine as well. Overall, the atmosphere at home was really laidback and fun!
Their home is clean and well taken care of. My room was clean and my bed had fresh linnen when I arrived. The three roommates shared a bathroom which was clean as well. Also, there were clean linnen and towels whenever I needed them.
There have been times when we would (go out and) do stuff toghether as well. Watching a movie, go to a musical, go to the park etc.
Good to know is that very close to their home there is a bus station. This way you'll be downtown fast.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is, if you're open for it and you're staying with Rob and Mira, you wont just find a homestay, but a second home abroad.
To summarize it all: I arrived as a roommate but I left as a new friend!
