I had a truly wonderful time with Michael and Yuko. Extremely friendly and lovely couple to stay with. 11 out of 10 would stay again :-). Thank you again for letting me Homestay with you!
Such a lovely couple. They deserve the nicest guests!
Even though Tobitakyu is very easy to reach from the city center, you can forget the hectic pace from downtown and slow down to enjoy interesting conversations with Yuko and Michael, who are always willing to help you if needed.
Can only recommend.
I'm so sorry for the late review!
I stayed with Michael and Yuko for just under a month and had a wonderful time. The location is great! Barely a minute walk from the nearest station and the shops around it. The station offers a direct route to Shinjuku for a cheap price (¥200ish), making it easy to get into the centre of Tokyo.
The room is a good size and comes with a lot of storage and a desk. Everything is clean and well kept. Michael and Yuko really went out of their way to help me whilst I was there.
I was given a key for the flat which allows for a lot of freedom and shown around the local area, so I knew where to get anything I needed.
Honestly, a 5/5 homestay for those that would like a convenient place with quick access to Tokyo's centre whilst staying in lovely, quiet area and having all necessities nearby with great company for any downtime whilst not out being a tourist! Yuko also cooked some delicious food! I would highly recommend it.
Again sorry for the late review and thank you for having me!
What started as a homestay turned into leaving friends behind. We had a good and entertaining time together, an exchange of culture, thoughts and abilities.
I had a great time with Yuko and Michael. They made sure all my needs were met and my room was very comfortable. They are both friendly and great to talk to. Yuko also accompanied to different places, which I appreciate as it was my first time in Japan. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to experience Tokyo.
Really nice Room, really nice people. Both are fluent in english. They helped me to get where I wanted to go to and gifted me an Umbrella just because it was raining. Getting to Shinjuku from the station near their home is really easy. Though I only stood one night, I felt right at home. I'd recommend everyone searching for a place to stay near Tokyo to consider staying with them.
Yuko and Micheal were a great help in my transition to Japanese culture. They gave me advice and directions which allowed me to explore the different regions of Tokyo on my own. Their homestay was a good fit for me. Their apartment is really close to the train station making getting around easy.
Yuko and Michael were indescribable helpful and nice.
They showed me wonderful places and we had a lot of fun together. The room is big, the bed comfortable, everything verry clean and the location of the apartment perfect located just a few steps from the train station Tobitakyu. Very easy to reach by train everything to admire in Tokyo.
Thanks for the great days with you.
Wish you a lot of guest's, i am sure, they will love to stay with you.
