About the Homestay
My name is Peter and my wife is Suzie. We’d love to welcome you to our comfortable and traditional English home in North London. Our home is in a quiet and safe part of London. We live in Mill Hill, a leafy part of North London. Our nearest airport is Luton, though we can be reached easily from Stansted, Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Our nearest train station is Mill Hill Broadway. We can arrange transport for you from any airport to our house, usually by pre-booked taxi.
When you are with us, we want you to feel part of our family and will enjoy including you in what we do, whether it is shopping, going out for a meal, or visiting a park.
Our home was built in 1912 and has been in our family for nearly 90 years. It contains lots of interesting features. We even have the old servants' bells in the living room and fittings used to light the house with gas lamps, though we don't use these now!
We can offer you a large room downstairs and your own bathroom with a shower. So, you can have your own privacy. If you are coming as a family, we have an additional single bedroom upstairs. The kitchen has two rooms and in one of them, you can eat with us and enjoy improving your English. You are very welcome to sit with us in our living room and join in with what we are doing, which may be watching films, playing a game, or just chatting.
We don't have pets and are a non-smoking household.
